February Favourites

It’s been a while since I have done a monthly favourites, but over the last few weeks I’ve discovered a few products that I am absolutely LOVING and feel are definitely mentioning in a good ol’ favourites post.

So without further ado, here are my February Favourites!

MAC Cosmetics Amplified Lipstick, Impassioned

I have had impassioned by MAC for quite a while but I hardly ever wore it until recently. It was the second ever mac product I had purchased and is a rather daring colour. A photo of the lipstick in the bullet doesn’t do it justice at all. It’s super bright and extremely moisturizing; perfect for a night out or social event.

NYX Dewy Finish Setting Spray

NYX finally launched in the UK and the counter in Boots Manchester is so impressive (and always packed full of people you can hardly move..). I picked up this setting spray on a whim because after all, I couldn’t leave the counter without a purchase could I?

The spray is an absolute dream. After application, your skin has a beautiful dewy glow, feels refreshed and everything is set into place. At £7, it’s a bargain. It’s a great alternative for Urban Decay’s setting sprays at a fraction of the price and I highly recommend giving it a go.

Technic High Lights

A dupe for Benefit’s Highbeam, it’s a must if you’re a liquid hightlight lover. I’ve had this for years; before strobing and highlighting was even a popular thing. I used it once or twice in previous years, not knowing why the bloody hell i’d bought it or what to do with it. When I found it at the back of my makeup drawer a few weeks ago, it quickly became my new go-to. It gives skin a lovely pearly glow, applies like a dream and it’s not too glittery.

I love it as a base for powder highlighter, applying under foundation.

The Balm Nude Tude

I bought this palette a couple of years back and it sat unopened for a long time. I’ve been loving natural eye makeup opposed to a smokey eye recently and this palette is perfect for the job. The packaging is fun and contains 12 well pigmented, wearable shades.

Don't Grow Up Its A Trap

Typo Don’t Grow Up It’s A Trap Notebook

Typo Notebook

My favourite ever notebook. I take it pretty much everywhere with me. I received it as a gift in Australia and I believe it’s from the brand Typo.

Pretty Little Liars

Now, if you follow me on Instagram, you’ll know that i’m about a thousand years late to the party and have only just discovered the wonders of PLL. After years of constant nagging from my friends, I decided to see what the fuss is all about. 4 seasons down in 2 weeks and it’s safe to say i’m hooked. NO SPOILERS OVER HERE, THANKS.
