It’s pretty safe to say i’m about a thousand years late to the liquid lipstick party. Soz Kylie Jenner.

However, I have heard so many amazing things about Sleek Makeup’s Matte Me range that I just had to try out a couple of these little delights.

During my recent Boots haul (you know, the kind where you pop in for one thing and next thing you know you’ve spent £50) I decided to pick up Shabby Chic and Velvet Slipper; both are very on trend and will suit everyone.

The small doe-foot applicator provides a smooth finish and application is a dream. All you need is one quick coat and you’re good to go.

As the formula is matte, you’ll need to prep your lips beforehand as with all mattes, they can be very drying and crack. But it’s nothing to worry about as all you’ll need to prep is a bit of lip balm underneath.

The longevity of the lipsticks is 10/10. I mentioned on Twitter the other day that after a drinks night out and 8 hours sleep, Shabby Chic was still intact and looked fab. I didn’t reapply once.

So I think that just about says it all.

At only £4.99 a piece, buying these little beauties was the best makeup decision I’ve made in a while. I’m excited to wear these shades all Summer and I already know Shabby Chic is going to be my all time favourite lippy.

Have you tried any of the Matte Me range?
