NYX Wonder Stick | First Impressions

You’re probably aware by now (unless you’ve been living under a rock) that NYX has finally arrived in the UK! We can finally see what all the fuss is about and the hype 10/10 lived to it’s expectations.

The brand’s Wonder Stick has definitely taken the blogging world by storm and today I have my first impressions for you!

The Wonder Stick comes in four shades: Light, medium, deep and universal. The best option for my skin tone is light so that’s the one I went for.

Starting with the contour shade, the product is extremely creamy and is very buildable, so is perfect whether you’re after a natural finish or want to go all out with a Kardashian Kontour.

The highlight shade is more on the chalky side and you have to be careful not to apply too much or you’ll be stuck with the dreaded “cakey” look.

Both sides of the product blend like an absolute dream and work perfectly with a damp sponge or your favourite contour brush.

The packaging means the Wonder Stick is the perfect travelling companion as opposed to a  regular contour palette. It takes up no room at all and fits perfectly in your handbag.

It’s a makeup must-have that has changed the contour game. The packaging also has a step-by-step guide so if you’re a beginner, any intimidating worries are straight out of the window.

NYX Wonder Stick retails at £10.

Contouring pencil type products scare the life out of me but I definitely think I’ll be trying this one out!
