Skincare Staples

I know you’re meant to switch up your skincare routine every once in a while, but I tend to stick with what I know works for my troublesome, overly sensitive skin.

Simple pride themselves on being the sensitive skin experts, so the brand have been my go-to staple for years.

The first thing I reach for every morning is the Moisturising Facial Wash. The blend of multi-vitamins and a skin loving ingredient cleanses and moisturises. The wash is foaming, 100% soap free and contains no artificial perfume, colour or harsh chemicals, meaning it’s absolutely perfect for my skin.

After washing my face, I always use the Hydrating Light Moisturiser. I find a little goes a long way with this one and you only need the tiniest amount to cover the whole face. As with the facial wash, it contains a blend of multi-vitamins and skin-loving ingredients to keep the skin looking healthy. My makeup definitely applies better when I use the moisturiser, whether i’m using a primer or not. I can’t see myself changing moisturisers any time soon as it works wonders.

There’s a lot of negativity surrounding face wipes recently and despite the bad rep, I still think they’re a good thing to have in for when you’re in a rush or too tired to go in with your full makeup removal routine.  Simple’s Exfoliating Facial Wipes are double-sided with cleansing and exfoliating action. They leave skin refreshed and revived and are one of the most effective wipes I’ve ever used.

Simple is a skincare brand that has been my staple for years and I can’t see it changing for a lonnng time!

I’m the same every time I change my skin care products I end up with such a reaction. I tend to just stay with simple product, I really like them and I find they work for me

I like the Simple line, I would recommend using a sunscreen of at least 30 though. Nice post.

Thank you! I never use SPF which is terrible, I need to start asap!

I didn’t get on with this face wash, it didn’t seem to do anything for my skin. At first my skin felt smoother and softer but I think the SLS wasn’t good for my skin.

Really? That’s a shame. The Body Shop Tea Tree Foaming Cleanser is also a good one!

I use the simple cleanser and toner but like to spend a bit more on a moisturiser in the hopes it’ll do some extra work for my skin! I don’t use face wipes but I didn’t realise theirs had an exfoliating side, I might have to go for them if I ever need some x
