Last weekend, I had the opportunity to try out Dog Bowl’s new food menu and I wasn’t disappointed.

Dog Bowl is somewhere that’s been on my “Hometown Bucket list” for a long while now so I was pretty excited to get invited!

The new menu is fantastic and everything sounds so delicious. You can enjoy anything from Tex-Mex to a hearty salad so there’s definitely something for everyone on there.

My meal of choice was the Fried Chicken Burger. This consisted of 2 southern fried chicken breasts, cheese and bacon on a sesame seed bun, fries and a side salad. Not only did I receive quite possibly the best burger I’ve even eaten, every meal bought means £1 will be donated to Action Against Hunger, a global charity committed to saving the lives of malnourished children in over 40 countries.

My friend opted for the Pulled Pork Burger which looked equally as delicious!

As for drinks, after much deliberation over the array of choices, we both went for a Mrs. Robinson. Made with Finlandia vodka, strawberry, apple juice, lemon juice and topped off with lemonade, it tasted absolutely amazing- the perfect Summer drink.

As we visited on a late Saturday afternoon, all five full length bowling lanes were booked up, but we’re planning a visit to put our bowling skills to the test.
