As i’m sure you’re aware, Benefit’s award-winning bronzer is now available in liquid form!

In this month’s Elle UK, you can get your hands on the brand new Dew The Hoola.

Starting with the packaging, it’s equally as beautiful as the rest of Benefit’s offerings. The brand really do know how to create the most Instagram-able products.

The scent is ahhhhmazing. It smells like Summer in a bottle. You know when you walk into Hollister and it supposedly smells like California? It reminds me of that.

Unfortunately, that’s where the positives end.

I really wanted to love this product as Hoola has been my go-to bronzer for as long as I can remember.

I found Dew The Hoola to be extremely orange looking- the exact opposite you want from a bronzer. I also had a lot of trouble blending it in and it ended up incredibly streaky and looked so out of place. I spent ages trying to blend it and to salvage the look but nothing seemed to be working.

I’ve only tried it out once and I might give it another go at some point and end up loving it, but for now i’ll be sticking to my beloved Hoola powder.

Have you tried Dew The Hoola?

I haven’t tried it yet but I am on a doubtful position. Usually bronzers, blushes, and highlighters in a liquid form are more work than their “dry” companions.

Maybe mix it with a bit of moistureiser? Although it might make it a bit lighter, it may be creamier and easier to blend? xx
