Life Lately: New Beginnings

You’ll notice things are a lil bit different around here. I finally took the plunge and went SELF HOSTED. So yeah, that happened. I’m extremely happy with my new theme and I hope you love it just as much as I do.

That brings me onto something else I need to tell you guys…

If you saw my post back in May you’ll know that I haven’t been to University. Verging on 22, if I’d followed the norms of society, I would’ve graduated by now. That didn’t happen and here we are. Do I regret it? No. Do I want to go to uni one day? Yes.

That day has come sooner than anticipated because I am going. to. University!!!!

In a few weeks, I’ll be starting a brand new adventure as a student at The University of Salford studying Journalism.

I still can’t quite believe that by the end of September, I’ll be a fully fledged student studying for a degree. Self-doubt got the better of me and I thought I had no chance of getting a place so I didn’t tell anyone I had even applied.

How wrong was I!? I’m never doubting myself again.

It’s well and truly a new chapter and I couldn’t be more excited. If I hadn’t started this blog, I wouldn’t be in this position. So thanks for sticking around and reading my weekly ramblings; one thing I know for sure is that I won’t be leaving anytime soon.

Hope you enjoy the rest of the long weekend and I’ll speak to you little darlings on Tuesday.

Eeep! That’s so exciting! Congrats on going self hosted. I’ve been way too chicken to take the plunge haha. Congrats on going to uni too! Journalism is great. I’m studying its cousin, public relations. I’m planning on doing a graduate diploma in journalism 🙂
