On Tuesday, I took a little day trip to London for BUNAC’s first ever blogger event, #BUNACSummerInTheStates…and it is safe to say I was very very excited. I love the guys over at BUNAC and since I travelled with them on their Work Australia programme in 2013, I already know they’re a top-notch company who provide the best working holidays around.
Founded in 1962 by a group of students wishing to spend their Summer in the USA, BUNAC offers worldwide adventures to young people wishing to make the most of their time as a student. Not only that, they also offer programmes available to non-students, including volunteering and TEFL.
A programme I’ve had my eye on for a while is Work America. Now I’m at uni, It’s an option and I was so excited to be learning more about it at the event.
Starting at just £599, BUNAC will help you score a job in your dream location, assist you in applying for your J-1 visa and help with flights and accommodation.
With the programme, you’ll be working in the likes of sunny California or the hustle and bustle of the Big Apple for up to four months. It doesn’t stop there, because after you’ve finished your job, you have 30 days to explore the States to your heart’s desire.
Not only will Work America provide you with the adventure of a lifetime, you’ll learn some valuable skills to enhance your CV and set yourself apart from the crowd. If you need anymore convincing, read some of the past BUNACer’s stories and you’ll be making the most of that £100 deposit in no time!
