Five Places I Want To Visit In The Next Five Years

We all have our dream destinations. You know the ones. You’ll have a Pinterest board dedicated to them and after a quick scroll through the Instagram hashtags, you’ll find yourself on Sky Scanner having a cheeky flight search “just in case”.

There’s a massive list of places I want to visit and it pretty much covers the whole earth…but to save time and this post being the length of a University dissertation, I’ve narrowed it down to five little gems that are riiiiight up there as the places that I’m itching to get to sooner rather than later.

The Dominican Republic is somewhere I’ve dreamt of visiting forever and I cannot wait for the day I finally go! The second largest Caribbean country is known for its history, culture and hospitable people.

My plan was to say “Bula!” to the happiest country on earth on the way home from Australia, but plans changed and it never happened. I’m still gutted I never went…one day!!!!

I’m pretty certain Bali is a little slice of heaven and there would be nothing better than sipping on cocktails at sunset after a day of adventures.

Canada was actually my first choice over Australia when I was planning my working holiday in 2013 but I changed my mind last minute! I still do want to do a working holiday in Canada in the next few years and I can’t wait to get planning it! For now, Toronto is the goal and I want to visit this year if possible, but we’ll have to wait and see.

Experiencing the natural beauty and wildlife of Alaska is something that has been on my travel wishlist for so long now. I really want to visit and see as much as I can in the next few years.
