Last Summer, I was invited along to Vapiano’s Cocktail Launch and I’ve been hooked ever since. So when I was invited along for a meal, who was I to decline heading back to my favourite spot in Manchester City Centre!?
At Vapiano, you’re given a card upon arrival to scan when ordering your meal (which is made freshly in front of you, to your taste and requirements). There’s no having to worry about how to split the bill as everyone has their own individual card that you simply hand in at the end of your meal to pay.
Our visit tied in nicely with our weekend plans and was a pre-concert dinner. The self-service nature of the restaurant means your meal is made fresh and fast- perfect for when you’re in a rush or on a schedule.
I already know how good the cocktails are so it was only right to introduce my friend to them.
For food, we decided to start off with splitting a prawn bruschetta. It’s my new favourite thing ever and as I’m currently writing this post up at 9am before breakfast, the cravings are intense!! The flavours are ridiculously good and my friend said she could “eat a bowl of the tomatoes on their own” which sums up how much we liked the bruschetta.
Next up, we shared a good ol’ classic ham and mushroom pizza. If you’ve ever had a pizza from Vapiano, you’ll know just how good they are. Better than Domino’s or Pizza Hut by faaaaar. One pizza is plenty to share between two and you’re spoilt for choice with all the different toppings they offer. They even offer vegan pizza so no one has to miss out on a slice of Vapiano goodness.
You can’t go to Vapiano without leaving room for dessert. Panna Cotta was on our minds all day and it didn’t disappoint. I got to try it last year at the cocktail launch and it has been one of my favourite desserts ever since!
