8 Reasons I Want To Go To Ibiza

Ibiza is a destination that has been on my wish list for so long now and I can’t believe I have never visited. After arriving home from icelolly.com‘s Ibiza Party at Blog At The Beach earlier today, which featured inspiring talks, networking and flowing sangria, I’m feeling even more infatuated by the Spanish isle.

I have my reasons of why I want to visit and the list is growing every day. I’ve decided to compile a list of my top reasons to inspire you to head to Ibiza for your next break….as long as you take me with you.

1. The Beaches

Ibiza is home to over 50 beautiful beaches and whether you’re wanting to relax and soaking up some rays or party the day away, there’s a beach for you. Bora Bora beach is the place to be if you’re all about the day drinking, but if you’re after a quieter spot, head to the North of the Island.

 2. Close To Home

You can find yourself in Ibiza in just over two hours. No ridiculously long flights and you’ll be in the sunshine before you know it.

 3. The Amazing Weather

Speaking of sunshine, Ibiza has 300 days of it each year, which is more than enough chance to get working on that tan. With highs of around 30 degrees in the Summer months, make sure you’re stocked up on suncream.

 4. Ibiza Town

Ibiza Town is absolutely thriving with history and culture. The district of Dalt Vila is a historic haven of stunning narrow passageways, a harbour and jaw-dropping views of the cathedral. The town is bustling with restaurants and bars, making it a lovely place to head out to in the evening.

 5. Bohemian Vibes All Round

The island is a well known hippie island and has been for years. The laid back atmosphere and hippie markets will transport you straight back to the 60’s.

 6. The Food

The best paella in all of Spain can be found in Ibiza and once you’ve tried the tapas, you’ll never look back.

 7. Formentera

A spectacular hidden gem off the coast of Ibiza that’s aptly named the Caribbean Island of the Mediterranean Sea , Formentera is the place of dreams. Pure, sandy white beaches and crystal clear waters make this picturesque island a must-see while in Ibiza.

 8. It’s THE place to party

Finally, it wouldn’t be a post about Ibiza without mentioning the infamous nightlife. Party the night away (or even the day, I mean, you are in Ibiza after all) at some of the most famous clubs in the world like Space and Sankeys, nurse your hangover aboard a booze cruise, party with the likes of David Guetta and Avicii at the Ibiza Rocks opening parties and do it all again at the closing parties.

I’ve always thought Ibiza looks so much fun and so exotic! I’m not a party girl but I would love to dance the night away in some of the clubs there 🙂
