Five Festivals To Head To In August

Festival season is in full swing and we’re coming up to one of the biggest months in music…August!

One of my favourite parts about festivals is the road trip to get there, blasting out the tunes and getting hyped with your friends. Virgin V Festival

19-20 August

P!nk, Jay-Z, Stormzy, Jess Glynne Emeli Sande

Weston Park, Staffordshire

Hylands Park, Chelmsford

Why should you go?  V fest will be Jay-Z’s only 2017 European show, P!nk has made a return after a couple of years out and there are plenty of other massive names to get excited about over the weekend!

 

Creamfields

24-27 August

The Chainsmokers, Duke Dumont, Martin Garrix, Chase and Status

Daresbury, Cheshire

Why you should go? Renowned for its friendly crowds, the Cheshire festival is celebrating its 20th anniversary with some of the hottest names in music. They over a range of packages, including the glam Dreamfields VIP experience.

 

Reading and Leeds

25-27 August

Eminem, Kasabian, Muse, Liam Gallagher

Richfield Avenue, Bramham Park

Why you should go? August Bank Holiday weekend always see some phenomenal headliners and this year is no different….a weekend spent with the likes Eminem is a weekend well spent.

 

Wilderness Festival

3-6 August

Two Door Cinema Club, Grace Jones, Bonobo

Cornbury Park, Oxfordshire

Why you should go? The award winning festival is an oasis of music, theatre, food, drink, wellness and wellbeing. Expect great music, inspiring talks and some of THE best dance parties!

 

Boardmasters

9-13 August

Alt-J, Two Door Cinema Club, Jamiroqui

Trebelsue Park, Newquay

Why you should go? Cornwall is the place to be this Summer, with music, surf lessons, an on-site eco spa and acoustic campfire sessions. It’s a jam-packed weekend that you’ll never forget.
